About Me
Born in 1979 and educated in the Batman public schools, Tekin graduated from Batman High School in 1996. He received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Selcuk University, Konya, Turkey in 2001, M.Sc. degree in Mathematics Science from Yuzuncu Yil University (YYU), Van, Turkey in 2006 and PhD degree in Electrical and Electronics from Inonu University, Malatya, Turkey in 2015. He worked as a Lecturer in YYU University between 2002-2010. Then returned to batman, where he was born, and worked as a research assistant at Batman University between 2010-2015. From 2015 on, he is working as assistant professor in computer engineering department at Batman University.
Dr. Tekin’s research interests are in the area of computational neuroscience, signal processing and machine learning. He married and has one child.​
